Doula Q

Peace Family,

My name is Q and I am a labor and postpartum doula.

I created Xi Births to liberate, educate, and empower the Black family during pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood. I truly believe that we possess the power to evolve, build, and structure out civilizations in a way that benefits our specific needs and wants one sacred birth at a time.

I graduated from college in May of 2021 and shortly afterwards received my birth and postpartum certification in November of 2021. Ever since then, the yearn for knowledge in this field has been limitless and I am grateful for every step of the way.

As we all are aware, the mortality rate amongst black infants and mothers are higher than any other race. With this in mind, I plan on assisting and providing mothers with the knowledge, resources, and support to help reverse the fear and traumas surrounding the birthing process.

Assisting my community by providing efficient support during the most empowering experience one could ever have is my passion and my purpose. I envision a time and place where our people can rely on ourselves for our own information, resources, and support that we need.
